Aluminum Alloy Microfiber Mop Review
This Aluminum Alloy Microfiber Mop was a mop that flew underneath my radar for a little while before I noticed that I was hearing some pretty good word of mouth about it, so I decided to get one and see just how well it worked. Fortunately, it worked out pretty well for me.
When I received this product, the first thing I noticed was that it had a pretty sturdy looking mop head and handle made out of aluminum allow. And while it felt nice and sturdy, it wasn’t very heavy. Sure, it wasn’t the most lightweight mop I’ve used but it most certainly wasn’t the heaviest either.
The next thing that caught my attention was the mop handle was adjustable – which is always a good thing. I could adjust it from 35-inches all the way to 60-inches. While this isn’t the longest reaching mop I’ve used, it was above average for most mops.
What was above average, however, was how it cleaned tile floors. I really have to say that I think that this mop was the best mop for tile floors I’ve used in quite some time. Thanks to its 360-degree mop head and its scrub brushes it did a great job on my tile floor.
Unfortunately, its stellar tile floor cleaning was counteracted by less than average wood floor cleaning. And the reason it didn’t fare so well on wood floors is because of its pads. I didn’t want to use the scrub pads on my sealed wood floors and the regular pads were kind of thin to do an effective job – at least, in my opinion.
All things considered, I think this mop is one that did a great job on my tile floors and a less than average job on my wood and linoleum floors. It has a few great features going for it, but it just has the problem of being kind of average when it comes to cleaning. And that’s not a good problem for a mop to have.
I think this mop is one that did a great job on my tile floors and a less than average job on my wood and linoleum floors.
- Long reach
- Adjustable mop handle
- Good on tile floors
- Cleans well
- Mop pads not very thick
- Not as good on wood floors
