Beesbutter Leather Conditioner-6 Ounces Review
As I continued my quest of finding the best leather conditioner I could find, I came across many different kinds of leather cleaning and conditioning products. And one of these was Beesbutter Leather Conditioner; A product that’s supposed to restore and protect. It’s also supposedly a formulation that’s been made for the last 150-years. I figured If something’s been around that long, I just have to give it a try.
This product comes in a jar and contains 6-ounces of product – which I admit is not a lot and makes it sound like this product is really expensive. However, in my experience, I don’t think it’s as expensive as it sounds because you don’t have to use a lot of it to get the job done.
Beesbutter is an all-in-one product that has the consistency of margarine and can be used as a conditioner, restorer, and softener. It even provides somewhat of a protective element as well because it adds moisture resistance to the end product. What it doesn’t do, however, is clean. You should use a different product for that.
You do have to be careful applying it though. That’s because if you use too much, then you’ll have white stuff all over your leather that has to be hand worked into the leather or used on another piece. And trust me, you don’t want to do that. It just adds time to your conditioning project. I know that from personal experience. You also will want to make sure you do a spot test before you use it full-scale. That’s because it can discolor some materials.
Although this is a product that you have to obviously use with care, I do think it does a good job doing what it’s designed to do. Which is protect and rejuvenate leather. Use it for that purpose and you’ll most likely be happy with it.
