The BISSELL 86T3Q Professional Grade Big Green Carpet Cleaning Machine is a carpet cleaning machine that can’t be mistaken for any other machine. As its name implies, it’s big and it’s green. I also think it’s the best carpet cleaner on the market today. Follow me as I take a closer look at this big green cleaner.

One of the first things I noticed about it – aside from its color – is just how big it is. It’s approximately 20.5x11x42 inches and weighs over 50 pounds. Which can make it tough to move around the house, especially if you have to carry it up the stairs. And in some areas, it might be hard to maneuver around the house, especially in those tight corners. This reason might make you think twice about this cleaner but it really shouldn’t because the points this unit loses for how it handles is more than made up by its cleaning power.

There really is no other way to state the one simple fact about this cleaner other than to tell you that it’s truly a beast. This unit can clean away some of the toughest carpet stains you can imagine. I tried it on a number of my carpets and in each case, it did a wonderful job.

Aside from its cleaning power, this unit also has a number of other things going for it. One, it has a 9-foot hose and a stair tool that makes cleaning stairs a whole lot easier. Two, it has a 25-foot power cord,  which is a blessing because a lot of cleaners have shorter power cords that make it hard to move from one location to the next easily. And three, this unit just seems like it’s sturdy – it just feels like a quality piece of equipment.

Of course, some people will be concerned by its price and that’s an understandable concern. When I got mine it was higher than most other carpet cleaners. However, I think that it’s worth the price. This is an awesome carpet cleaner. And this review isn’t the only one stating that fact. I’ve read a variety of other carpet cleaner reviews that basically say the same thing. This is a great unit.

If you’re looking for a heavy-duty carpet cleaner, then this is it. It delivers a level of professional quality carpet cleaning that’s very hard to beat nowadays.

The Rug Doctor Mighty Pro X3 Carpet Cleaner is a carpet cleaner with a very familiar face. It looks quite similar to those cleaning machines that can be rented in strip malls and grocery stores all over the U.S. However, it is different from most of these units in significant ways. Come along with me as I make an in-depth review of this unit.

One of the first things I realized about this unit was that it was more expensive than some of the other units on the market today. But that’s probably because they seem to be very well built. Before I even started using it, I noticed that the carpet cleaner felt like a quality unit. Which is a nice feeling to have when you are testing out a unit for the first time.

The next thing I noticed about this carpet cleaner was that it was quite heavy – over 50 pounds, in fact. Now, to be honest, I was expecting it to be heavy – after all, I’ve read several carpet cleaner reviews which basically said the same thing, but you don’t realize how heavy it is until you begin to use it. That’s when you realize it can be hard to maneuver, at times. Especially considering that its power cord was only about 20-feet long. I really could’ve used a few extra feet at times.

Of course, I may have just needed to get used to using it because after some time I felt like an old pro at using the Might Pro X3. I did all of my carpets, did some upholstery and even did my stairs. And do you know what? This machine did a wonderful job on all three.

This unit is not only durable but also quite powerful and I had no problems tackling any job I threw at it. And when I was done cleaning my carpets, I noticed that they weren’t soggy like they were with other cleaning machines. In no time flat, I was able to use the rooms in which I had just cleaned the carpets.

If the Rug Doctor Mighty Pro X3 isn’t the best carpet cleaner, then it comes pretty close. It’s durable, powerful and gets the job done without a whole lot of fuss. It truly delivers a professional level of carpet cleaning.

While I was looking over carpet shampooer reviews, I came across the Hoover FH50150 Power Scrub Deluxe. It seemed to be a well-liked carpet cleaner, so I decided to order myself one and see if it was the best carpet shampooer that I could find on the market today or if it was just all hype. Here is what I discovered about it.

The first thing that I liked about it was that it wasn’t a big, giant machine. In fact, it was only about 20 pounds or so, which really made it a whole lot easier to move around the house. I also liked the fact that it was designed to have 4 handles. Yes, you read that correctly – it has four of them. Why so many? Well, it has so many of them to make it easier to carry. You can decide which handles to grab to take it up the stairs or into another room. I thought that was pretty neat.

I also initially liked the fact that this unit had an 8-foot hose with upholstery tool for cleaning carpets or stairs. However, there were a few things about the hose that could’ve been better. For example, I discovered that I had quite a bit of difficulty hooking the hose up. I also noticed that it really didn’t have as much suction as I had hoped. While it certainly isn’t a deal breaker, I really wish the hose had worked a little bit better. I’m also not a big fan of the water tank. I felt that it was too small and it seemed like I had to fill it up way too much, or at least more than I would’ve liked.

As far as cleaning power, I thought this carpet cleaner did a great job. Its 360-degree cleaning brushes really do a good job on carpets and when the unit is done, the carpets are left fairly dry. It really did a great job at doing its job.

Overall, I think this is a good carpet cleaner, despite having an upholstery tool and hose that doesn’t work as well as it should have worked. It’s a good little carpet cleaner, it’s just not without its flaws.

The Rug Doctor Deep Carpet Cleaner is a carpet cleaner that isn’t as big as some of the professional carpet cleaners but promises to do just as good of a job. And while it might not be able to contend with some of the bigger models on the market, I’ve read quite a few carpet cleaner reviews that claimed this was a great unit. So with that in mind, I ordered one and put it to the test.

The very first thing that I noticed was that it didn’t require any assembly. I just took it out of the box, unfolded the handle and it was ready to be filled with water and solution and used. I also noticed that this unit was about half the weight of the professional units – which was a pleasant surprise to both me and my back.

It also came with a 28-foot power cord that gave me the reach I needed to do every carpet in my house. And that extra cord length, coupled with the smaller size of this unit, made the Deep Carpet Cleaner very easy to maneuver around the house.

As I used it on my carpets, I noticed that it did a pretty good cleaning job. With its dual cross action brushes and its “Super Spray Boost” was able to get just about any stain out of my carpets. While it might not be a heavy-duty cleaner, I found that it did more than an adequate job.

The only real problem I encountered while using these cleaner was that it I felt like I had to keep refilling the water tank to get my cleaning job done. I suppose that this is just a negative side-effect of having a smaller and more maneuverable unit. It’s easier to use but needs to be refilled more frequently.

And while I liked the 7-foot hose with upholstery tool for doing my furniture, I felt that the tool lacked suction – probably because it shared its suction with the main unit. A little bit of a disappointment but I wouldn’t call it a deal breaker.

All things considered, this carpet cleaner is a great unit. While it might not deliver professional quality cleaning, it comes really close to it and I imagine it would be a welcome tool in just about any home. If you’re looking for an easy to use, yet powerful carpet cleaner, then this one might be the one you’ll want to check out.

When I bought the BISSELL 1622 PowerLifter PowerBrush, I had my doubts about whether this carpet cleaner could ever be a contender for the title of best carpet shampooer. And for the most part, I was right. This unit will never be mistaken for being the best carpet cleaner. However, it does have a few things going for it that make it worth looking at.

One of the first things I liked about it was its price. While I won’t tell you how much I paid for it because prices fluctuate, I will say that it was one of the more inexpensive units I’ve found. In fact, I think it’s safe to say that it was a bargain for me.

Another thing that I liked about this unit was its size. It’s not a big unit and isn’t particularly heavy, so it’s pretty easy to use. As I was cleaning my carpets, I can honestly say that I had no problem maneuvering this unit around corners or my furniture. And when I had to tote it upstairs, it wasn’t a big pain to do so.

It also did a great job of cleaning. While it only has an 11-inch cleaning path, it’s easy enough to use that I didn’t care having to make an extra pass to get all my floor done. I don’t find that to be too much of an inconvenience. However, there were a few things I genuinely didn’t like about this cleaner. And these things were power cord length and water container size. Both of these things annoyed me.

The power cord just wasn’t long enough. It was only about 20-feet long. A few extra feet would’ve made all the difference. And as far as the water tank goes, it just wasn’t big enough. It only held about ¾ of a gallon at a time. Which meant that I spent a lot of time emptying and refilling this particular unit.

Of course, I do think that its positives outweigh its negatives. The BISSELL 1622 is a good low-priced carpet cleaner. It may never be mistaken for being the best carpet cleaner, but it will economically get the job done.

I’m always on the lookout for a carpet cleaner that does a good job of dealing with the particular issues that I, as a pet owner, have to deal with. Namely, the hair and the smell that can get into carpets from my beloved animals. So I checked out numerous carpet shampooer reviews and decided to order a BISSELL 17N4 Deep Clean Premier Pet Carpet Cleaner – a carpet cleaner specifically designed for pet owners.

When I received it, I noticed that it had a few features that really sounded good. It had dual rotating power brushes, Heat Wave technology to keep the water in the cleaner warm, Edge Sweep brushes for cleaning along baseboards and a pet hair collection basket. After reading about all of these features, I just couldn’t wait to put this cleaner through its paces. Which is exactly what I did.

The first thing I noticed was that this unit was quite heavy. Over 30-pounds, in fact. This made it a little harder to use, but not as difficult to use as some of the really heavy professional cleaners that are out there. And besides, this unit really did a good job at cleaning.

This machine had a 12-inch cleaning path that really dug the dirt out of my carpets and left them smelling fresh and renewed. It also managed to get out some dog hair that had been ground down into my carpet. Its main failures come not with its ability to clean carpets, but with its accessories.

The hair trap collection basket doesn’t stop all of the hair and hair can be really hard to get out of this cleaner. I also didn’t think that its deep reach tool wasn’t all that it was cracked up to be. It wasn’t bad, it just didn’t do the job that I thought it was going to do.

What it all boils down to is this: While I think that the unit is kind of bulky and that the accessories are a tad bit disappointing, I still feel that this machine does a good job at cleaning carpets – animal hair and all. It has a wide cleaner path and its dual-rotating power brushes really pull dirt and hair out of carpet.

As a pet owner, I’m constantly on the lookout for a carpet cleaner that will make short work out of all my pet messes – whether it’s pulling dirt from the carpet, picking up hair or removing unpleasant pet odors. And sometimes my search leads me towards some interesting machines like the BISSELL 1986 Pro Heat 2X Revolution Pet Carpet Cleaner.

When I received this unit I noticed that it was pretty lightweight – around 20 pounds or so – which really made it easy to use. I also noticed that it really did do a fantastic job on my carpets. It not only managed to lift out dirt and dog hair, but it also managed to remove some of those pet odors that I’m too embarrassed to talk about. It really did do an exceptional job.

I also liked the 2-in-1 upholstery tool and 8-foot hose the unit came with. It worked exceptionally well in removing dirt and hair from my sofa, love seat and my stairs. I was quite pleased with it and I feel that it was one of the better upholstery tools of any “pet oriented” carpet cleaner I’ve used so far.

In fact, I loved this carpet cleaner so much that I was tempted to put it closer to the top of my list of best carpet cleaners. And I would’ve too if I hadn’t noticed one big flaw. And that flaw is that this unit left the floors just a little bit too damp. The carpet is supposed to be dry within an hour with this unit, but in my case, it took over twice that amount of time. In my opinion, it just didn’t pick up enough water.

I really wished that I could have given this unit a higher score. After all, it’s lightweight, easy-to-use, cleans well and is great on pet stains. If it just picked up water a little bit better it would’ve been a top contender among carpet cleaners.

While I was conducting my ongoing search for the best pet carpet cleaner on the market today, I came across the BISSELL 36Z9 Deep Clean Deluxe Pet Carpet Cleaner. A carpet cleaner that’s supposed to be a powerful cleaning ally to pet owners. Of course, the only way to find out if it is truly a great carpet cleaner for pets is to give it a test and try it out. Which is what I did for this review.

This carpet cleaner features something called Heat Wave Technology, which is just a fancy way of saying that this machine keeps the water warm while you’re using it. Now notice that I said keep the water warm and not heat the water up. That’s because it just maintains water temperature. If you want hot water in it, then you had better add it, to begin with. Just make sure you follow all instructions, though.

One of the first things I noticed about this system is that it isn’t really heavy. Sure, it isn’t the lightest system I have ever used, but it’s far from the heaviest either. And I also noticed that it was fairly easy to maneuver throughout my house. Which is something I can really be appreciative about.

Of course, there were a couple of things I were disappointed about as well. For instance, I thought that the power cord was just a little bit too short. Short enough to be an inconvenience. I also didn’t like the accessories for this unit. I felt like the hair collection basket didn’t work as well as it should have worked and the Tough Stain tool wasn’t as powerful as I had expected it to be.

However, as far as cleaning is concerned, I thought this carpet cleaner did a fairly good job. It worked pretty well on both my carpet and my upholstery, and it didn’t leave either one too damp either. It’s a decent carpet cleaner for pet owners, but it’s not the best one on the market today.

When I first received the Hoover F5914900 Steam Vac with Clean Surge Carpet Cleaner, I honestly didn’t expect much from it. Out of the box, it looked kind of unassuming. I was basically just a carpet cleaner body, a couple of tanks, a handle assembly, some nuts and bolts, a hose bracket, upholstery tool, nozzle cleaning tool and an owner’s manual. It wasn’t until I had it fully assembled – a process which took about 10 minutes – before I got an idea of what this unit could do.

This Hoover had a 12-amp motor, a 3-speed brush-roll control (off, low and high) and separate tanks for the clean water and the dirty water. So far so good, I thought. I then decided to put it to the real test: cleaning the 3 rooms of carpet I had set aside for it. That is when I noticed a couple of problems.

The first thing I noticed was that this unit didn’t have a trigger lock, which may not be a big deal for some of you but is for me. Keeping my finger on the trigger all of the time left my hands feeling kind of sore – especially after I was using the unit for awhile. It would’ve been nice if a trigger lock had been added.

Another thing that I noticed is that I really didn’t like how this unit was designed. I didn’t like the lack of power in the hand tool and I didn’t like the fact that I had to lean the unit back remove the dirty water tanks. Sure, this unit was lightweight and easy to maneuver but it also felt like it was cheaply made with all of the plastic. It just didn’t feel durable.

Sure, this unit did a fine job of cleaning my carpet and I have no complaints about this unit once I had it set up and running. Just cleaning the carpet, this cleaner did a fine job. However, it didn’t do that great of a job on my upholstery or stairs.

Overall, this is an alright unit for someone looking for a cheaper carpet cleaner to use occasionally around the home. After all, it did get the job done. I just wouldn’t expect a whole lot out of it.

The Hoover FH50220 Max Extract 60 Carpet Cleaner is a unit that has a whole lot of things going for it. Two things that I noticed immediately about it was that it didn’t weigh a whole lot and that it had a 13-inch cleaning path – which isn’t so shabby for a steam cleaner in its price range. There were a few other things I liked about it as well, but unfortunately, there were a few bad things, too.

This carpet cleaner had separate tanks for clean and dirty water and that’s always a plus in my book. I also liked the fact that the unit used forced heated air to speed the carpet drying time – which it did significantly. I also liked the fact that this unit had pressurized edge-to-edge cleaning that really lifted stains out of my carpet.

This Hoover also came with a hose and upholstery tool that did a decent job at cleaning my sofa and love seat. So with all of these positives, you are probably wondering why the score isn’t as high as some other carpet cleaners. Well, that’s because, despite all of the positives that this unit may have, it also has a few negatives.

One of the things I didn’t like about it was that it didn’t feel very durable. I know that it is a product that is located on the lower end of the price spectrum, but it feels like to me like they are using a whole lot of plastic in its design, more than I would’ve cared to see.

Another thing that I didn’t like was its tendency to dribble water out of the back of the unit. You see, it has a little overflow back there that is designed to keep water out of the motor, which it does. It also happens to leak a little bit when I’m using it. Not a whole lot but enough for me to worry about it regularly.

And all of this brings me back to my final point. This carpet cleaner needs to be refilled way too much, in my opinion. It seemed like I was always refilling and emptying this unit. Maybe it was the size of the tanks or the slow leak in the back, I’m not sure. All I know is that using it was more labor intensive than it should’ve been.

All things considered, I felt like this was a decent carpet cleaner and would’ve been a great one if a few design issues had been adequately addressed by the manufacturer.
