It does a pretty good job. It cleaned my floor very well. It also dried quickly. However, I discovered that occasionally it would leave streaks on my hardwood floor. Not sure why that's the case.

It cleans well, it shines and it meets United States EPA Safer Product Standards. But it's slow drying time, small size and its inability to provide a lasting shine are disappointing.

Bona Pro Series Hardwood Floor Cleaner is a ready-to-use hardwood floor cleaner that’s supposed to be good for cleaning all kinds of wood and wood laminate. I’ve heard only good things about this product, so I decided to get my hands on a bottle and see how well it could clean my floors.

The first thing that I liked about this product is that it came in a nice big 1-gallon bottle. That’s enough to do my floors for quite awhile. Sure, it would’ve been better if the cleaner was concentrated and wasn’t ready-to-use but it’s still an adequate amount of cleaner in this bottle.

It’s supposedly safe for all unwaxed polyurethane floors, so I immediately put it to work on my floors using just a microfiber mop. I noticed that this product really did a good job picking up dirt and it dried pretty quickly. It also didn’t leave a residue like other cleaners have in the past.

Even though it’s not intended to put a shine on hardwood floors, I did notice that it did seem to make mine shinier. Even one of my close friends commented on how well my floor looks, which is not something she does on a regular basis.

Taking everything into consideration, I would have to say that I really liked the performance of this cleaner. It’s the best hardwood floor cleaner I’ve used in quite some time and really makes my hardwood floors look their best.

Bruce Hardwood and Laminate Floor Cleaner is a product from a company that I am fairly familiar with since I have used some of their other products in the past. So I decided to give this floor cleaner a try and see if it could become a candidate for best hardwood floor cleaner currently available.

The first thing I noticed about it was that it’s a refill bottle. All that means is that it’s supposed to be placed into a sprayer and sprayed onto the floor. In fact, the directions on the bottle state that the product is not to be poured directly onto the floor, so I avoided doing that for this review. I followed all directions and used it with my favorite microfiber mop.

I sprayed it on my floors and then used my mop to spread it and mop it up. One of the very first things that caught my attention is that it had quite a powerful scent. Not strong enough to be obnoxious, but strong enough to make me worry if it should be used around people with breathing disorders such as asthma or COPD. I’m not sure I would want to use this product if I had one of those conditions.

As far as cleaning goes, this product performed above and beyond my expectations. It really does a good job of cleaning the floor and leaves both my hardwood and laminate floors looking really nice. It’s a good product that really only has one flaw in my book – its smell.

My seemingly never-ending search for the best wood floor cleaner has brought me into contact with a product called Weiman High-Traffic Hardwood Floor Restorer & Polisher. While I was familiar with the company that created this product, I had never come across this particular cleaner, so I got myself a bottle of it and put it to the test on my floors.

The very first thing that caught my attention about it was that it was kind of a small bottle. It’s only 27-ounces and it’s not concentrated but full-strength. I’m not sure how long this is going to last me, especially with my hardwood and laminate floors but I was willing to keep an open mind until I had at least tested it.

This product is supposed to be a 2-in-1 floor product, meaning that it’s supposed to restore and polish. And despite my initial doubt, I found out that it actually does both pretty well. It cleaned my floor and left a nice shine to it. Unfortunately, it took its sweet time doing it.

What I discovered about this cleaner was that it takes quite a bit of time to dry. I was waiting over 30-minutes for my floors to be completely dry. And that doesn’t really make me happy because I have other projects to do and really don’t want to wait for the floor to dry completely. Overall, I think this is a good product. It cleans well and it polishes. It might take a little bit of time to get there but it does do its job.

A lot of buzz has been circulating about Weiman Hardwood Floor Cleaner in a 27-ounce trigger bottle – or at least, as much buzz as you would expect about a floor cleaner. I just knew I was going to have to get my hands on it and see if it is the best wood floor cleaner or if it’s all hype.

When I first got this bottle I was a little skeptical because it’s small and doesn’t hold a lot of product. Something that’s made worse because the product isn’t concentrated, so you have to use it full-strength on your wood floors. The bottle says that you can get about 500-600 square feet of cleaning out of it but that really didn’t make me feel a whole lot better. It’s still kind of a small bottle.

I decided to try it on my hardwood floors and see if it could get the job done. I sprayed some on the floor and began spreading it with my microfiber mop. I immediately noticed that I could smooth it out very easily and I got some good coverage out of it. Now, I’m not sure if it’s the 600-feet of coverage the bottle says it will clean but it did do a lot. I don’t have to use a lot of it to get the job done.

I did all of my laminate wood floors and my sealed natural wood floors and this cleaner really did a great job. It picked up the dirt and did it without leaving streaks or a dull residue on my floors. I also liked the fact that it dried quickly and didn’t just sit in a pool like some other cleaners have done. All in all, I think this is a great cleaner. It would be better if there was more of it, but it gets the job done really well nonetheless.

Black Diamond Wood & Laminate Floor Cleaner is a product from a company I’m familiar with. I’ve used their other floor cleaner products. However, I have never used one of their products that was intended just for wood and laminate flooring, so I decided to get this floor cleaner and see just how well it worked.

This ready-to-use cleaner came in a 1-gallon container, so I was pretty confident that I was going to get quite a bit of work out of it. The first cleaning project I used it for was cleaning my sealed hardwood floors and I do have to say that I like this product as a cleaner. It really pulls up the dirt and doesn’t have an unpleasant scent.

The next project I used it for was cleaning my laminate flooring. As was the case with cleaning the wood, this product really did a good job at cleaning it up. I was almost ready to rate this floor cleaner very highly. And then I took another look at the floors and changed my mind. I’m not too sure now how much I like the results.

Sure, this product cleaned well, it did streak and it dried relatively quickly. It did its cleaning job very well. The problem I have with it is that it didn’t leave the floors as shiny as I would’ve have liked. No, it didn’t leave them cloudy or anything like that, it just wasn’t as shiny as I would have liked. Overall, I think this is a good laminate and floor cleaner. It’s just not one of the best ones available.

Shaw R2X Hard Surfaces Flooring Cleaner is a hard floor cleaner that’s supposed to be good for ceramic, laminate and hardwood flooring. It’s from a company that I don’t know much about, which is strange since I’ve been around my fair share of cleaners. However, it did have the “Good Housekeeping Seal” on its label, so I decided to give it a try and see just how well it cleaned my hardwood and laminate flooring.

This floor cleaner comes in a 32-ounce spray bottle, so I used it the way it was intended to be used: I sprayed it on my laminate and sealed wood floors. I then used my microfiber mop to mop over it. One of the first things that caught my attention – or my nose to be more exact – is that this cleaner has a very mild scent that was easy on my sinuses. I also noticed that my mop glided through this product very easily and smoothly. Before long, I had all of my floors mopped.

And the result? Well, I do have to say that this cleaner does a pretty good job at doing its job. It cleaned my floor very well. It also dried quickly. However, that doesn’t mean that I didn’t have any problems with this product. I did discover that occasionally it would leave streaks on my hardwood floor. It didn’t leave any streaks on my laminate flooring but it did on my wood floor and I’m not sure why that’s the case.  This is a good cleaner that’s very easy on the nose but it’s far from perfect.

Bona Hardwood Floor Cleaner is a ready-to-use floor cleaner that comes in a 1-gallon bottle. A bottle that’s intended to be used as a refill for the smaller spray bottles this company produces. However, I found it very easy to just put it in my own spray bottle and use it on my wood and laminate flooring. Which is exactly what I did.

Much like the other Bona floor cleaners I’ve used in the past, this one did a very good job on my wood floors. While I don’t think it’s as powerful as the Bona Pro Series, it does get the job done with just a little bit of elbow grease. It went on easily, it dried quickly and it didn’t leave any streaks.

It also did a snazzy job on my laminate floors, although I honestly have to say that I would prefer using Bona Stone Tile and Laminate Floor Cleaner on my laminate floors. While the difference isn’t huge, it’s enough for me to consider the latter cleaner the better solution for my laminate floors.

All things taken into consideration, I do think this is a great product for natural hardwood floors. And while it did a decent job on my laminate flooring, it’s not the best cleaner for that purpose. This is a good wood floor cleaner but not the best one on the market today.

Minwax Hardwood Floor Cleaner is a floor cleaner that I’ve been aware of for quite awhile but until now have never had the chance of using it. So as soon as I could, I got myself this 32-ounce bottle and tried it not only on my wood floors but also on my wood laminate floors.

One of the first things I noticed was that it had a nice pleasant scent and not the chemical scent that many floor cleaners have, which is always a nice start. I then noticed it was a 32-ounce bottle and that it wasn’t concentrated. I would’ve preferred a concentrated solution – because it would’ve lasted longer – but I was willing to give this one a chance and see how it turned out.

Well, it did a pretty good job cleaning my floors, but as I had feared it took more of the cleaner than I would have liked to clean all of my hardwood and laminate flooring. And this means that by the end of this review, I had used quite a bit of this product. I guess I won’t be using this cleaner on a regular basis.

When I was finished with this product, I was fairly happy with the results. While it didn’t shine as well as I had hoped it would, it did clean both my hardwood and laminate floors very well. It’s certainly not the most powerful floor cleaner I’ve used but it isn’t bad either and would use it again if the cleaners I liked more were not available.

Enforcer Hardwood and Laminate Floor Cleaner (Professional Strength) is a product that I have reviewed before. It’s ranked at the #5 position for my laminate floor cleaner reviews. However, since it didn’t do as good a job against other hardwood cleaners on my wood floor cleaner list, it sank somewhat in the rankings.

This product isn’t concentrated, so it’s a ready-to-use formula that really did a pretty decent job on my laminate flooring. It cleaned the flooring up nicely, removed some scuff marks and had a scent that wasn’t overpowering but was somewhat pleasant. All in all, I liked using this product on my laminate flooring.

The experience I had with it cleaning my wood flooring was pretty much the same. It picked up some shoe marks off of the floor, cleaned the floor nicely and didn’t leave a buildup after multiple moppings. However, as I said earlier, it’s not the perfect solution for wood floors. It does have some flaws.

One of the things I didn’t like about it was that it took awhile to dry. A long while. I also didn’t like the fact that it never shined my floors up like other cleaners have done. It did a fine job if you’re using it for wood laminate, but it’s simply not the best product to clean just wood floors alone.

Quick Shine High Traffic Hardwood Floor Luster is a product that’s supposed to clean and shine sealed wood floors. It’s also supposed to be a “high traffic” formula that stands up to a lot of use. Of course, as I’ve stated in the past, the only way to find out if the product is good is to ignore the marketing hype and just see how well it performs. Which is precisely what I did in this review.

When I got the product, I noticed that it was in a squeeze bottle that only held about 27-ounces of product. And since this floor cleaner isn’t concentrated but ready-to-use, I was pretty sure it wouldn’t be able to do all of my floors. Sadly, I was right. I got quite a bit of my hardwood floors but not all of them.

As I used the product though, I did notice that it did a great job of cleaning. It got up all of the messes I needed it to get up and it left a simply beautiful shine. A shine that really dazzled me for a moment. I just kind of stared at it for about 40-minutes or so—which is how long it took this product to dry.

Now, you’re probably wondering why this product would only make it to the number 10 spot on my hardwood floor cleaning list if it cleaned and shined well. Although I liked its performance, I wasn’t happy how long the cleaner took to dry and with how long the shine lasted. My floors only retained that fabulous shine for about a week before I had to redo them again with another bottle of cleaner.

This product does have a lot going for it. It cleans well, it shines and it meets United States EPA Safer Product Standards. But it’s slow drying time, small size and its inability to provide a lasting shine are disappointing.
