Finding the best laminate floor cleaner can be somewhat of a pain. After all, this is a type of flooring that hates soap, water, abrasives and even too much water. However, it still needs to be cleaned, so I decided to check to see which cleaner did the best job and that’s when I stumbled upon Bona Stone Tile and Laminate Floor Cleaner – a cleaner I’ve used for tile and grout before but not laminate. Not until now, at least.
The first thing that I did when I received it was to prepare a solution of it. It’s a concentrated cleaner, so you need to mix it for best results and that’s exactly what I did. Under no circumstances do you want to use this cleaner full-strength on laminate flooring. Mixed, however, it did a marvelous job. It cleaned the floor and left a nice shine without any sort of build-up or residue. I was so impressed that I wanted to try it out on another laminate floor, so I went over to my friend’s house because she had a laminate floor that looked like stone. I asked her if I could do a review on her floor and she agreed, so I headed over there.
When I arrived at her house, I tested an inconspicuous corner of her floor to make sure this cleaner wasn’t going to do something horrible to it. Once I was convinced it was safe to use, I then cleaned her whole floor. And this cleaner performed the same way on her simulated stone laminate as it did on my wood laminate. It did a perfect job and I would gleefully recommend it to anyone looking for a cleaner for their laminate flooring.
