The McCulloch MC1275 Heavy-Duty Steam Cleaner is, at least to me, the best steamer for sealed hardwood floors. What makes it so good? Well, it has a few things going for it and it’s priced affordably.
For one, it is extremely portable. It only weighs around 10 pounds, so I can move it to just about anywhere in my house. Second, it has very hot steam and I do mean very hot. The steam is over 200 degrees, so it doesn’t leave water on your floor, it just dissipates away. However, that does mean that if you use it improperly, it is hot enough to damage wood floors, so be sure to be careful.
One of the great things about this unit is the trigger. Unlike some steam cleaners, it is very easy to depress. Which means that I could turn the steam on and off at will. This helps me to use just enough steam to clean my hardwood floor. And since the unit can be moved quite nicely, I can cover my entire floor in no time flat.
A word of caution: I don’t recommend you use it on unsealed wood flooring. If you want to nonetheless always test on a small inconspicuous area before proceeding.
By my opinion one of the best steamers for sealed hardwood floors I've tried while at the same time priced affordably.
