O-Cedar Easy-Wring Microfiber Spin Mop Floor Cleaning System Review

The O-Cedar Easy-Wring Microfiber Spin Mop Floor Cleaning System is not just a mop but a whole cleaning system, as you can probably tell by its name. It was also a cleaning tool I couldn’t wait to get my hands on, so as soon as I could I got one and put it through its proverbial paces. The following is a review of what I discovered about it.

The first thing I want to comment about this system is that it was not only funny looking, at least to me, but it was also kind of weird using it. It has a spinning wringer in the mop bucket that you can place the mop in and get it to spin by depressing a pedal with your foot. However, as odd as it was to use, I do have to say that I really appreciated never having to use my hands to come in contact with the dirty mop water.

The odd shape of the mop head also allowed me to get into the corners of my room very easily. It also did a great job cleaning all of my floors – including my sealed hardwood, tile, linoleum and vinyl floors. It did all of these surfaces impressively. In fact, it did such a good job, I was tempted to rate it higher and I would’ve, if it didn’t have one big flaw – it’s handle is just too short.

Its handle is only about 51-inches long, which is just a little bit short than I would’ve liked. And I imagine that because of this short length, a lot of people will be stooping over while they are mopping. Not a good scenario by any means. It’s also priced a little higher than comparable mops, but I think I could’ve been okay with that if the handle was just a little longer.

Overall, this is one of the best spin mop systems on the market today. And it could’ve competed for one of the best overall mops if it just didn’t have those 2 minor flaws.
