Sheiner’s Floor Cleaner Concentrate-128 ounces Review
According to the label of Sheiner’s Floor Cleaner Concentrate, it has a couple of things going for it. One, it’s concentrated so it’s supposed to make up to 128-gallons of cleaning solution. Two, it’s supposed to clean tough dirt and grime, and three, it’s supposed to have a neutral PH balance – meaning that it’s safe to use on all surfaces. So I decided to test it out and see just how well it worked.
I looked at the label and according to the label’s directions, I made two batches of cleaning solution. I made a “regular” batch of solution for ordinary cleaning by using an ounce of the solution with a gallon of water, and I made a “heavy-duty” cleaning solution using 4-ounces of cleaner to a gallon of water. I then proceeded to test this solution on several different surfaces all over my home.
Since this cleaner has a neutral PH, I suspected that it would probably be good on stone surfaces, so I decided to clean the granite counters in my kitchen and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. It did a really good job at cleaning it and it did so without damaging it.
I then tried to use it on my bathroom tile and grout. While it did an okay cleaning job with my tile, I don’t think it did a very good job with my grout – at least not with the “regular” cleaning mix. I had to break out the “heavy-duty” cleaning batch to clean up my grout, so I’m guessing this isn’t the best grout cleaner. All things considered, I think this is a good cleaning solution for granite, marble, stained concrete and marble, but I wouldn’t expect too much out of it for other types of surfaces.
While it did an okay cleaning job with my tile, I don't think it did a very good job with my grout - at least not with the “regular” cleaning mix.
- Good scent
- Good value
- Great for stone floors
- Is just an OK grout cleaner
