A lot of buzz has been circulating about Weiman Hardwood Floor Cleaner in a 27-ounce trigger bottle – or at least, as much buzz as you would expect about a floor cleaner. I just knew I was going to have to get my hands on it and see if it is the best wood floor cleaner or if it’s all hype.
When I first got this bottle I was a little skeptical because it’s small and doesn’t hold a lot of product. Something that’s made worse because the product isn’t concentrated, so you have to use it full-strength on your wood floors. The bottle says that you can get about 500-600 square feet of cleaning out of it but that really didn’t make me feel a whole lot better. It’s still kind of a small bottle.
I decided to try it on my hardwood floors and see if it could get the job done. I sprayed some on the floor and began spreading it with my microfiber mop. I immediately noticed that I could smooth it out very easily and I got some good coverage out of it. Now, I’m not sure if it’s the 600-feet of coverage the bottle says it will clean but it did do a lot. I don’t have to use a lot of it to get the job done.
I did all of my laminate wood floors and my sealed natural wood floors and this cleaner really did a great job. It picked up the dirt and did it without leaving streaks or a dull residue on my floors. I also liked the fact that it dried quickly and didn’t just sit in a pool like some other cleaners have done. All in all, I think this is a great cleaner. It would be better if there was more of it, but it gets the job done really well nonetheless.
